With fall approaching, it’s time to start planning our annual fall fundraiser.  As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our community for the support needed to purchase equipment, supplies, and scholarships, as well as volunteering.

We will be holding a planning meeting on Tuesday, August 16th at 7:00 PM at the Centralhatchee Methodist Church.  If you’d like to volunteer and/or help in the planning, please join us!  If you’re unable to make it, but would still like to help, please let us know.

The preliminary plan is that we will hold a campout/bonfire the night of Friday, October 28th, and have a horseback ride on Saturday morning, and then offer pony rides and have a petting zoo for kids and adults to enjoy.
Donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated and go directly to the operations of Soaring Spirits.

Now we have a nice shaded area to tack horses, do some riding and perform our workshops!!

Veterinarian Matt McCord from Bowdon Animal Hospital and other members of his staff were present distributing rabies shots to dogs and cats.  Veterinarian Jared Miller from Bowdon Animal Hopsital was distributing shots and Coggins testing to equines.

Local farrier Brian Collins was on hand to do complementary trims and evaluations on any horse in need.

Soaring Spirits would like to thank everyone who volunteered and who participated!
